Yes!!! One of my favorite days of the week...FRIDAY!!! Today I'm reflecting on the awesomeness of my Creator. This time last year I was wrecking my brain planning a wedding and wondering how I would be as a wife. Ok, so listen. I only cooked twice in my entire life before I got married. I know, shame, shame, shame. But I just didn't want to. Never did slaving over a hot stove seem intriguing to me. I literally prayed to the Lord to teach me how to cook. Seriously. I was always busy in school and working that I didn't have time for cooking lessons. I warned my husband that it would be a task that we would have to face together.
Luckily I have a very loving and patient husband because for months we cooked together or either he cooked alone, of course I assisted with passing him the items and utensils he needed to prepare the meals. Oh, and I would cut up a few onions and what not here and there.:) But, God is good guys! I can proudly say that I've been putting my foot in these meals lately...and I'm beginning to enjoy it. I get a sense of fulfillment when I can prepare a meal and have laundry done and a clean house when my husband comes home from work. I still have some work to do, but i'm on my way! I'll let you guys know what concoctions I come up with. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying my Friday. Later!...
